Microsoft: Blu-ray makes the PS3 price rises.

Microsoft claims that the price of Blu-ray sales of console games off Sony's PlayStation 3. According to Aaron Greenberg, Director of Product Management Microsoft, Sony steps to use physical media for entertainment facilities is a mistake.

Sony, Greenberg claims, such as VIVAnews quotes from Edge-Online, March 18, 2010, now faces costs related to these entertainment features.

Microsoft itself chose not burdened by the cost of these optical drives. Without a device costing about 100 dollars in it, Microsoft could sell for $ 199 game console dollars. Cheaper than console games are offered complete with Sony Blu-ray drive.

Unlike Sony, which allows users to enjoy HD movies via Blu-ray, Microsoft brings HD movies and television shows through Xbox Live service, or via the Internet.

Although Blu-ray play a role in making expensive PlayStation 3, but the components are not the only one that makes the console prices skyrocketed.

The proof, as Sony presents the PS3 Slim, also with a Blu-ray drive, and then in August, the price could be reduced to 299 U.S. dollars. Sales also began to increase. With these conditions, many analysts now predict that Sony was the one who will win the competition in the console market. Not Microsoft or Nintendo.
