Capello Start Search Substitute for Beckham

The England manager, Fabio Capello has started to replace David Beckham to meet the quota of 23 players to the 2010 World Cup. Capello hopes Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge may be back to strengthen the Three Lions.

After the loss of Beckham's injury in the Achilles tendon, Capello has focused on the Cole and Bridge. Duet left back is expected to play in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

"We believe that Ashley Cole will be back playing in time at the World Cup. And this is good news for the squad," Capello said as quoted by Soccernet, Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

"And there was plenty of time for Wayne Bridge to think again about his decision to no longer want to play in the national team. There is enough time for him to think about it," explained Capello.

Capello does not want to impose the will of both players. Because of that, Capello wants to talk to Cole and Bridge privately with both players hope to change minds.

Although Beckham can not play in the 2010 World Cup, Capello kept his hope that Beckham could play in the Euro competition next year.

"We hope he (Beckham) suitable for next year. Because he is one of the best players in England," said Capello.
